CASE STUDY #1
Jennifer had been to many doctors, tried pills, tried acupuncture, tried virtually everything she could think of, yet no one could figure out why she had terrible abdominal pain and cramping.
Disheartened when doctors told her that her best option was a full hysterectomy, she sought out a truly different approach: the SCIO. Within 15 minutes of her session, Joyce had found out the reason for her discomfort. Jennifer was highly sensitive to two very specific items, which were the first two stressors that appeared in the program.
The Biofeedback system reported that she was highly sensitive to chicken and grapes. Joyce asked her what protein she ate and how much alcohol she drank in a week. Jennifer informed that she only ate chicken and drank a bottle of wine every night.
Joyce then explained how the body works and how the SCIO uncovers hidden information that stressed her body. She was also coached to stop eating chicken and drinking wine for one week to see how her body would respond and she agreed she would try. Since Jennifer did not like fish, they discussed other protein substitutes and she promised to call in a week. Jennifer reported that all her pain and cramping was gone. She also started losing weight immediately, has now lost 60 pounds and cannot believe how great she feels!
CASE STUDY #2
While visiting Joyce in Florida, my dear friend, Gina began having chest pains and insisted on going to the emergency room. Since I was aware of Gina's lifestyle, I knew that it was family stress at home that was really plaguing her, but I encouraged her to seek medical attention nonetheless and took my laptop with me to the hospital so I could give her a quick SCIO session
while we waited in the ER. After the doctors ran a series of tests, they admitted her for the night then released her the next morning with a prescription for anxiety, adamant that there was nothing wrong with her heart.
Little did the doctors know, the SCIO proved that her mental and emotional stress was off the charts, so I ran programs to put her in balance. However, Gina’s hormones were also out of whack and her thyroid was in distress.
Once Gina had returned home to Minnesota and went to Mayo Clinic for her annual check up, I told her to ask them to run tests on her thyroid and then told Gina what I had found out during her SCIO session. A few weeks later, Gina called me and she could not believe that what I told her was correct. Her doctors from the Mayo Clinic wanted to put her on medication for a thyroid imbalance. Gina is now following her doctor’s dosing instructions, her thyroid issues are improving, and she’s a firm believer in the efficacy of the SCIO!
